Carerix is continuously working on improving the protection of your candidate’s information. Technical improvements, procedural improvements and whitepapers all add to the security of your valuable data, and put you in control of who can access your Carerix application.
As part of our audit process we have tightened our internal security and privacy protocols regarding access to your database and Carerix application. Starting December 1st 2016, Carerix employees require your explicit permission, to access your application. This access will only be used to service your business, and only after your explicit approval.
What does this mean for you?
These measures will only affect the way Carerix can assist you. For you and your employees, nothing changes in the way you access your Carerix application.
In order to provide you the best service, we sometimes need to be able to look in your system. Having access to your system will save valuable time.
What do you need to do?
If you wish to allow Carerix to access your application you need to set the MasterUser to YES:
- In the left menu in Carerix, click on 'Maintainance' - 'Settings' (only available for administrators)
- Go to the MasterUser section
- For the setting 'enableMasterUserLogin', Click the 'Activate' button
What can Carerix do in your application?
If you have allowed Carerix to access your system, we can login using a special administrator account, and simulate logging in as any active Carerix user. The activities of Carerix are logged in the system activities, and can be viewed by your own administrators.
What if you don’t want to allow this?
If you would prefer not to allow us access to your system, you don’t need to do anything.
The new policy will be activated per December 1st 2016 and the default for the setting for the will be NO. It will however potentially increase the time needed to provide you with a proper solution at the time you ask us for support.
When you request our support and access to your application is needed to provide you with a solution, we will ask your administrator for permission. Your administrator can then decide to allow access, and revoke it once the issue is resolved, by changing the setting in the general settings screen in your Carerix application.
If you decide not to allow access to your system at all, please keep in mind that this will limit the level of service we can provide.
