Carerix has "Groups" and "Campaigns". Both are being used for sending mailings. What is the difference and when do you use groups and campaigns?
A campaign is being used when you want to monitor the status of every send item. This way you use campaign for example to send an invitation for an event like a golf-tournament. Because you want to know which people are coming.

A group can be used when you do not need to monitor the status of every send item. Therefore groups can be used best for managing of mailing list for a newsletter. Also, when the newsletter has been send, you do not need to process through the reactions.

The usability with the groups is the best. It is not necessary to create a separate campaign for every mailing. With check boxes in the right column of the file, it is easy to check groups. Also groups can easily be combined with other selections.
